Dr Parsa is an experienced general practitioner having previously worked in hospital medicine and private practice clinics locally and internationally. He is interested in all aspects of general practice and in particular paediatrics and respiratory disease. Dr Parsa has created the Glengowrie Medical Centre with his son Ethan to be a centre of excellence healthcare facility by refining all of what Dr Parsa has seen and experienced in his career to provide a superior patient experience by a dedicated team of staff. Dr Parsa's hobbies include watching tennis and soccer and he has a keen interest in history and international affairs. Dr Parsa also speaks fluent Persian/Farsi and Dari.

Dr Jacobson is an experienced general practitioner. He had been practicing for over 41 years from his solo medical practice not far from the soon to be built Glengowrie Medical Centre. Upon hearing that the the Glengowrie Medical Centre was soon to be opened in late 2021, Dr. Jacobson decided to relocate his entire practice to the GMC so that he and his patients could enjoy a state of the art health facility. By all accounts, the move to the GMC in November 2021 has been successful for Dr Colin and his longstanding patients. He has an interest in all aspects of general practice caring for all age groups and this is evident in the pride he takes in caring for several generations within each patient family. He has a keen interest in his spare time in AFL and SANFL football, cricket, reading and movies.

Dr Diem Dang is a well known female general practitioner and has been practicing in the local area since 2006. She completed her medical training at the Flinders University and Flinders Medical Centre. Her post graduate training were at Modbury, Women's and Children's Hospitals and Noarlunga Health Services. She also previously worked in the Adelaide Hills, Mannum and Strathalbyn private GP clinics. Her areas of general practice interest are Paediatrics, Women's Health, Minor procedures, Geriatrics and Ante-natal Shared Care. In her spare time she enjoys spending time with her family and watching her kids play sports. She also likes hiking, gardening, cooking and adventure travels. Dr Diem Dang is fluent in English and Vietnamese.

Dr Sue Stark graduated from Flinders University in 1996, going on to specialise in General Practice. She won the David Game Prize in 2000 as the top candidate for SA/NT in her RACGP fellowship exams. With over 20 years experience as a GP in the local area, Sue is well known for providing thorough and quality care, working with patients to optimise their health. She brings her expertise and interest in Women’s Health to Glengowrie, offering support with issues such as period management, contraception, pregnancy health, menopause and general wellbeing. She is an accredited Obstetric Shared Care provider for pregnant women intending to deliver at a public hospital (FMC, WCH). Sue enjoys looking after children of all ages, and has completed a Diploma in Child Health 1997. Dr Stark is a private billing GP, with discounts offered to Pensioners, HCC holders and children - (some bulkbilling services apply, eg DVA, chronic disease care plans, vaccination clinics) Areas of interest include Women’s health, Obstetric Shared Pregnancy Care, Children’s health, including immunisations, Preventative health and Chronic disease management.

Dr Sean Murray-Smith graduated at Victoria University of Manchester Medical School. Prior to arriving in Australia, he was ENT Registrar in the North Lonsdale Hospital, Barrow in Furness. On arrival in Australia, he worked as a jackaroo in NSW, worked in ED running the ENT clinic and later worked as a GP in Whyalla and Beaudesert. As a founding member of the Australasian College of Tropical Medicine he was the prime mover in piloting the malaria screening programme. The success of this reducing acute episodes of malaria led to its introduction into the whole of North Queensland. Following this he was made a Fellow of the Royal Society of Tropical Medicine and Hygiene (London). During the 1993 Dengue epidemic in North Queensland he made a case control study of the effectiveness of insect screens in preventing spread of Dengue. He then moved to Adelaide and worked in several practices and in 2015 he was elected a Fellow of the Royal Society of South Australia. His interests include ENT, using an operating microscope to clear ears of wax and foreign bodies; diagnosis and management of skin diseases; flying radio control model aircraft; rugby union; science awareness in the community and curry at the excellent Indian restaurant on the Esplanade at Aldinga. He is a regular elf in the Christmas Santa fly-in sponsored and run by Aldinga Biplanes at the local airfield. Glengowrie Medical Centre welcomes Dr Sean to its team.

Dr Mohammad Irfan graduated from Medical School in 2007 and is a Fellow of the Royal Australian College of General Practitioners. Dr Irfan understands the importance and the difficulties patients face accessing medical care when their regular GP or usual clinic is not available during after hours or public holidays and he has been serving the community for many years by providing after-hours care during these times to help patients bridge the gap in their continuity of care. Dr Irfan does minor surgical procedures including Implanon replacement and he is fluent in English, Urdu and Punjabi. Please note Dr Irfan has a gap for all consultations for all patients including children <16 and concession-card holders (payable on the day). Dr Irfan speaks Punjabi and Urdu.

Dr Ghulam Jilani is a general practitioner with over 20 years' experience. He graduated in 1989 and has a special interest in dermatology and chronic disease management as well as men's health, occupational health, travel medicine and skin and cosmetic conditions. With Diplomas in Children's Health and Diploma in Dermatology, Dr Jilani caters for the medical needs of the south Adelaide region. In addition to fluent English, Dr Jilani speaks Punjabi and Urdu.

Dr Irwan Hamid has a Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery from the University of Adelaide and is a Fellow of Royal Australian College of General Practitioners (FRACGP). He has strong interests in the areas of Chronic disease management, Dermatology, Mens and Womens health, Paediatrics and Geriatrics. Dr Irwan speaks fluent English, Malay and Indonesian. Dr Irwan has a great sense of humour and easily builds strong rapport with his patients.

Alycia is a physiotherapist with over 23 years of experience, specialised interests and training in the fields of women, men and children’s pelvic health. She is an APA Titled Member of the Continence and Women’s Health Group and a Member of the Australian College of Physiotherapists (MACP).

Alycia has worked across the SA public health sector at The Queen Elizabeth Hospital and then the Women’s and Children’s Hospital in her early career but since 2011, has been working exclusively in the field of pelvic health in Private Practice. In 2014, Alycia also joined the team at South Terrace Urology, providing physiotherapy services to men undergoing radical prostatectomy for prostate cancer and other urological conditions. In addition to treating common pelvic conditions such as prolapse (including pessary fitting), urgency, incontinence and pelvic pain, Alycia has an interest in paediatric incontinence including bowel dysfunction and bedwetting.

As a mother of three busy boys, Alycia’s spare time is mostly spent on the sporting sidelines but where possible she likes to squeeze in some fitness, dinners with friends and important family catch ups.

Carolyn has 19 years of experience in both the public and private practice sectors. She has worked across Flinders Medical Centre and Noarlunga Hospital since 2003 in outpatients and women’s health services. She commenced concurrent work in private practice in 2010. She is a titled Continence and Women’s Health Physiotherapist.

Carolyn is a member of the Australian Physiotherapy Association (APA), the APA’s Women’s, Men’s and Pelvic Health Group and The Continence Foundation of Australia. She is committed to ongoing professional development and keeping up to date with the latest research and most current evidence-based practice. She regularly attends courses and conferences both locally and nationally.

Along with treating common pelvic conditions such as bladder and bowel dysfunction, prolapse and pessary fitting and management, urgency, incontinence and pelvic pain, Carolyn has an interest in working with women during their pregnancy and post-partum recovery.

Carolyn has three school aged children including a set of twins. She enjoys spending time with family and friends, cooking, being active and outdoors and tending to her plant babies. You’ll find her practicing what she preaches at the gym, often in the early hours of the morning!

Dr Ebrahim Rezaei is a Clinical Psychologist who is passionate about working with adults to improve their wellbeing. He has been providing psychotherapy for 15 years. He completed his doctorate in Clinical Psychology in 2011. and worked as the assistant professor of Clinical Psychology. He has published numerous scientific journal articles in the areas of anxiety, depression, drug abuse and psychosomatic disorders. In his clinical practice, Dr Ebrahim delivers cognitive behavioural therapy and other evidence based treatments to adults for a range of emotional and behavioural problems such as anxiety, depression and adjustment disorder. His therapy approach is based on principles of CBT and behavioural activation. He speaks English and Farsi and provides psychological services for clients from culturally and linguistically different backgrounds.

Kirsty Stupel is a Senior Podiatrist and Company Director with myPod Podiatry. After completing her first degree in a Bachelor of Dance in 2001, Kirsty then went on to study a Bachelor of Podiatry at the University of South Australia. Here she was awarded the prestigious TG Mitchell prize for the graduating Podiatrist with the highest overall score. For the last 5 years Kirsty has also been asked to act as a clinical supervisor at the University of South Australia, tutoring the final year Podiatry students on the subject of Biomechanics (Orthotic Therapy). Kirsty is also an active member of Sports medicine Australia, Australasian Academy of Podiatric Sports Medicine and the Australian Podiatry Association. Kirsty provides a full range of Podiatric treatments including general nail and skin care, nail surgery, paediatric podiatry, orthotic therapy, diabetic assessments and functional gait analyses. When she is not at work Kirsty loves spending time with her two children Campbell and Piper.

Alex completed her Podiatry studies at the University of South Australia. Whilst having a keen interest in all aspects of Podiatry, she especially enjoys providing general skin and nail care, ingrown toenail surgery, diabetes management, musculoskeletal issues and Paediatric foot care. Alex is an active member of the Australian Podiatry Association and Sports and Exercise Podiatry Australia. Natalie's focus is to teach, encourage and to inspire people to live a healthier life through the consumption of healthier food. She will equip patients with personalised nutritional knowledge to help them make positive changes which leads to the improvement of overall health. During her time as a dietitian she has had the opportunity to work with people who are wanting to lose weight, who have diabetes, irritable bowel syndrome (IBS), high cholesterol and other conditions such as food intolerances. Natalie encourages her patients through scientific fact and practical solutions take positive steps to start doing things that may have never done before which will in return see changes you have never seen before. Natalie believes her patients are in charge of their health, and your time to make positive actions towards a healthier diet is now.

Ros is a registered Nurse and Midwife with over 25 years experience in public health. She has a Masters of Midwifery, is certified with the Childbirth and Parent Education Aust. Assoc. and is an Endorsed Midwife. The additional qualifications allow her to order tests and scans, prescribe medication and also attract Medicare rebates. Ros began Hello Baby! Midwifery because she wanted women to be able to access care that matched their needs, rather than just the bare minimum or fragmented, indifferent care. She loves providing people with the information they need to make the choice that's right for them. Ros offers a variety of services from complete pregnancy care and in-home 6 weeks postnatal care (birthing with public hospital) and 1:1 childbirth education to Optimal Maternal Positioning (bodywork) and birth debrief and support. Ethan is an engineer, project manager and entrepreneur. As the founding director, the Medical Centre was a brainchild of his in the making, long before construction broke ground at Glengowrie. This purpose-built architecturally designed medical centre, was the ideal opportunity to combine his interests in construction management and the healthcare sector. Ethan believes that innovation combined with patient centricity is the key to a much needed ‘refined healthcare’ system. In addition to the clinic establishment, he is responsible for the medical centre’s ongoing operational management and business development. When Ethan is not at the GMC he is managing other business interests and serving up some aces on the tennis court.

Tracey has several years of business administration and operational experience spanning across Allied Health and GP Practices. Tracey has been instrumental in the planning and set up of the Glengowrie Medical Centre to ensure that an entirely professional, comprehensive, and collaborative health service is established. Tracey is a well known and well respected figure in the medical community.

Kiki completed her Bachelor of Nursing at Flinders University and is passionate about healthy living which has helped pave the way to provide unique and specialised care for others. The pride that Kiki takes in her work has helped to develop trust with her patients and engage with them to provide a greater level of care. Outside of work, Kiki has a variety of interests but particularly enjoys spending time with her partner & two dogs and exploring the great outdoors.

Shona has over 25 years experience in nursing, having specialised in emergency nursing, day procedure and general practice. She brings a wealth of knowledge and experience to our practice. She believes in living a healthy lifestyle and enjoys promoting healthy living to her clients. In her spare time Shona likes to attend the gym, take long walks and enjoys the occasional glass of red wine.

Melodie is a nurse with a career covering all facets of nursing who brings a wealth of experience to the Glengowrie Medical Centre and its patients. Melodie is a valuable member of the team who prides herself on delivering the best healthcare possible.

Lisha has worked in the medical and healthcare industry for several years and has managed a specialist centre for patients with chronic pain issues. She is dedicated to making our patients experience a comfortable and pleasant one at the Glengowrie Medical Centre. Outside of work, Lisha enjoys spending time with her husband, children, and granddaughter. She also enjoys the gym and walking her dog.

Einir is an experienced medical receptionist and is passionate about providing a superior level of care to the patients of the GMC.

Rose has enjoyed working in General Practice for over ten years. She has a passion for public health and is currently studying this further at Flinders University. Rose enjoys juggling administration work with welcoming patients and supporting practitioners. When she is not at The GMC she loves treating as a qualified Remedial Massage Therapist.

Michelle has worked in the medical industry for 6 years and has many years' experience in customer service. Michelle is passionate in ensuring patients receive individual care and feel comfortable and at ease during their visit. In her spare time Michelle conducts Nutrimetics foot spa's and facials and enjoys socialising with family and friends. Michelle loves spending time with her husband and daughter, cooking, gardening, growing bonsai, supporting local wineries with a glass or two, and she enjoys going to beach walking with her fur baby.
